Dear friends!

There is some time before the deadlines for EUSJA trips have been already announced, the descriptions of all 3 trips were sent out not once (please find the files in my previous messages or look EUSJA web page!), this is just a short reminder.

1. Trip to Hamburgorganized by German association TELI and research center DESY, journalists will participate the international symposium "Solar Energy for Science" (19-20.05.11). 15 EUSJA journalists will be offered free accommodation up to 3 nights (18-20 May), meal, free tickets to whole symposium. Deadline for applications is 29 April.

2. Tripto Lindau to participate the Nobel Laureates meeting with young researchers from 27 of June to 1 of July. This year the meeting is devoted to physiology and medicine. Journalists will have an opportunity to interview scientists (see the list www.lindau-nobel.de). The invitation is for 8 EUSJA journalists who will be offered free accommodation (up to 4 nights), there is also a meal. Deadline for applications is 20 of April.

3. Trip to Heidelberg from 18 to 20 of July 2011 to meet scientists from 2 famous research institutes - DKFZ and EMBL. EUSJA has 25 invitations. The organizers are offering accommodation (3 nights), meal and travel to/from Frankfurt airport for free. The deadline for applications is 20 of April. But! As soon as this trip is in middle July when the summer holiday starts, THIS WEEK we shall confirm the applications has been already sent in order journalists could do their summer planning. Please do not wait till the very last day.

All applications (name, position in media, e-mail) should be sent VIA NATIONAL ASSOCIATION to Viola Egikova ( violae@mail.ru or viola@eusja.org). If you have more than one application from your members, write the numbers 1, 2, 3... in order to show us who is the first and who will be in a waiting list.
